About Me
My name is Gabriela, and I’m a marketing and brand strategy creative who’s always been curious about what makes an idea stick.
What makes someone stop scrolling? What makes an experience memorable? What makes people feel connected to a brand or community? That curiosity is what first drew me to advertising and brand strategy, and it’s something that still influences how I approach my work today.
I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and Brand Strategy, and since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work across advertising, social media, community marketing, event planning, and brand experiences. I love being able to take an idea and figure out how to turn it into something people can actually connect with.
Through SWOOP, UNT’s student-run advertising agency, I worked as a Media Planner on a campaign for the UNT Police Department that was selected for real-world implementation. I’ve also managed social media content for client accounts at SevenCube Marketing and planned community events for 1,000+ residents at FirstService Residential. Each experience has taught me something different, but they’ve all reinforced how much I enjoy work that combines creativity, strategy, and people.
Leadership has also played a huge role in shaping who I am professionally. I served as President of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc., where I was recognized as President of the Year, and now serve as an Area Coordinator supporting four active chapters. Through these roles, I’ve learned how to lead different personalities, communicate with different audiences, bring people together, and, honestly, figure things out when there isn’t always a clear answer.
I’m naturally curious, creative, and always looking for the “why” behind an idea. Whether I’m building a campaign, creating content, planning an event, or brainstorming what comes next, I want to create work that feels thoughtful, engaging, and memorable.
At the end of the day, I like making things happen.
